New theory of gravity might explain dark matter (professor Erik Verlinde)

 see: http://phys.org/news/2016-11-theory-gravity-dark.html

Quote: "In particular, it suggests that the microscopic constituents from which spacetime emerges should be thought of as basic units of quantum information whose
short range entanglement gives rise to the Bekenstein-Hawking area law and provides the microscopic ‘bonds’ or ‘glue’ responsible for the connectivity of space time.
And also: qoute:
"Our theoretical framework incorporates and has been motivated by the recent developments on emergent gravity from quantum information, and in our view is a logical extension of this general research program".

What could be the building block of the quantum information thing?
I would suggest a rigid string particle able to transfer or convert its real FORM AS A RIGID STRING. SEE:
3-Dimensional String based alternative particle model.
