Q-FFF Model says: equal sized black holes do not merge but repel each other into Star /Galaxy forming dual Black Hole Herbig Haro systems.
There seems still reason for smaller scale building blocks of Q-FFF strings: reason: the ability to form hinges with 90 degree click stops.

Below: Example of a two black hole Herbig Haro system, the Squid Nebula.
A two for one nebula in the Constellation Cepheus is the Flying Bat and Squid Nebula. Known as Sh2-129 this H alpha emitting object gives off a broad reddish glow. But embedded in this expanse of ionized gas is a planetary nebula called Ou4, nicknamed the Squid Nebula due to its shape. A central star at the end of its life is ejecting gas and stellar debris into space on equatorial planes. Distance from earth: 9,370 light years.
